Dumpster rental terms: rental period and extra days

Every rental includes 7 days. Each day past 7 costs $25. Call before day 7 to extend or to schedule an early pickup.

Included weight and overage

Included weight is 2 tons (10-yard), 2.5 tons (15-yard), 3 tons (20-yard) and 4 tons (30-yard). The 40-yard holds 5 to 6 tons, and its included weight is written on your quote. Weight over that is $75 per ton, charged pro-rata by the exact pound. Example: a 20-yard weighing 3.26 tons net is 0.26 ton over, so the overage is $19.50.

Proof of weight

The load is weighed on the disposal facility's certified scale. A digital copy of that scale ticket, showing gross, tare and net weight, is attached to your final invoice.

Final billing

The final invoice, including any overage, extra days or item fees, is emailed 3 to 5 business days after pickup, once the landfill processes our disposal logs.

Prohibited items

Hazardous chemicals, wet paint and batteries are strictly prohibited. Items found at pickup must be removed before the dumpster is hauled.

Extra-fee items

Appliances containing Freon (refrigerators, freezers, AC units), mattresses and automotive tires are $50 each, because the disposal facility processes them separately.

Heavy debris

Concrete, dirt, brick and sand are allowed only in 10 and 15-yard dumpsters, loaded no higher than halfway up the walls. Loads of a single unmixed material qualify for clean-fill pricing.

Overfill

Debris must stay level with the top rim. Texas law requires loads to be secured, so we cannot haul an overfilled dumpster. If it is overfilled, the $125 dry-run fee applies and the excess must be removed before transport.

Placement, access and dry runs

You choose the drop spot and keep it clear. If the driver cannot drop or pick up the dumpster because of parked cars, low wires or branches, or a locked gate, a $125 dry-run fee applies.

Property protection

Drivers place structural wood boards under the dumpster's rails and rollers on concrete and asphalt driveways. Tell us about septic lids, sprinkler lines or new concrete before delivery.

Delivery scheduling

Deliveries run 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Orders placed by 3:00 PM are delivered the next day. Same-day delivery depends on truck availability and carries a $50 rush fee. Drivers text or call 20 to 30 minutes before arrival. You do not need to be present if the drop spot is clear.

Swaps

A swap (pulling a full dumpster and dropping an empty one) is billed as a new standard rental, with its own 7 days and included weight.

Street permits

A dumpster in the street or public right-of-way may need a city permit. Ask us about your city when you book.

Payment, deposit and cancellation terms are confirmed with you when you book and appear on your quote.
